Take your old rechargeable batteries

Do you know what to do with your old batteries when you need to dispose of them? Even rechargeable batteries wear down, lose their effectiveness and need to be replaced.
Rechargeable batteries are commonly found in laptop computers, digital cameras, cell phones, cordless phones, camcorders, cordless power tools, and remote control toys. And all AA, AAA, 9 Volt and D batteries must also be disposed of properly.

So many of us just throw our old batteries into our home trash container and do not think anything of this. In today's society, more and more of us are becoming aware of keeping our planet "GREEN" and protecting our children and grandchildren's future for a clean and "GREEN" world. Let's ALL be aware that there is danger in ignoring our environment by being unaware or unwilling to protect our natural resources. Help do your part and make sure our future generation is also educated in the fact that they need to recycle products that are hazards to our planet and being a role model example will make a better world for us all to live in.

Help keep rechargeable batteries out of our nation's solid waste stream and recycle your used batteries and old cell phones. Find out who, in your area, collects rechargeable batteries and used cell phones and do your part to preserve our natural resources and also benefit charitable organizations. You will be surprised at how many organizations and places of business accept your old, throw-away batteries.

Think "GREEN" and Answer the CALL To RECYCLE!
